Mix 5 Cups of Flower
4 tbs baking powder
2 tbs sugar
1/8 tsp salt
Add 2 Cups of warm water
5 tbs of melted lard
Gently mix together, put in a 9 x 13” pan and pat down.
Cutting the bannock before baking makes for easy serving
Bake at 420 F until golden brown.
This should take 18-20 minutes.
* Try adding Raisins or Cranberries into
the dry ingredients
